BLIZZARD!

The very first true Nor'easter of the season. I'd forgotten how crazy they can be. At times I'd look out the window and there was nothing but just complete white. Whatever happened to be on the front lawn will now reside there until spring, I'm sure. We'll think of it like buried treasure and wait until the snow disappears to find whatever goodies might have hibernated underneath.
The girls got out to play for a while today. They were almost blanketed by the snow. We dug 'em out just before frost bite set in. (I hope you know I'm only kidding...)

And it's still snowing rather heavily out there. We just may be buried by morning. Like the episode of Little House on the Prairie when they opened the front door and were greeted by nothing but snow. Somehow that doesn't sound as fun as they made it out to be. Hubs is thrilled, though...and revving up his snowmobiles for a fresh-powdered ride tomorrow. I'll sit in the nice, warm house and sip my coffee...thank you very much. Or fly to Florida and visit my in-laws, perhaps...
