After dinner this evening Hub's cell phone chirped, signaling an incoming text. Since he is such a fan of all things swapping/selling/trading none of us were alarmed. It happens rather often. He has become a pro at texting. This particular text, however, raised lots of eyebrows within our home. The sender's phone number looked unfamiliar to us both, but that wasn't the intriguing part...
Random Texter: "Two cup sizes bigger" (Which peaked my curiosity instantly, of course.)
Hubs: "Think u have the wrong number. Cup sizes? Awkward!" (The "awkward" part was added at my insisting.)
Random Texter: (After delayed pause.) "What? Who's this?" (In a slightly panicked fashion, no doubt.)
Hubs: (Insert big smirk here.) "Shawn. Who's this?"
Random Texter: (Hubs laughing hysterically before relaying the message to us.) "OMG. LOL. Please delete pics. Sorry" (Now THIS is when our curiosity hit the ceiling. I'm enthusiastically thankful that no pictures reached Hub's phone. Yikes.)
Hubs: "Oh my word? Haha. Thankfully no pics came through. But you gave my family the best laugh we've had in a while. Have a great night."
Random Texter: Ok (A rather quick exit, if you ask me.)
And that, my friends, is why you ought always check the number your calling before you hit send. I'm slightly terrified and yet incredibly amused at where this whole thing could have gone...
