That's a nice crappie - good eating! The best thing to do is filet it...don't bother gutting it. Cut skin off, then slice meat off the backbone. (kind of like carving a turkey:)
A crappie fish? Sweet! I think we'll get some crappie green beans from the garden, fry up some crappie taters and call it dinner! :-) Thanks, Kevin...we'll let ya know how it came out!
